As a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York, Molly England supports individuals and couples facing complex challenges with compassion, empathy, and love. Molly’s warm, non-judgemental approach creates a safe space to explore and express vulnerabilities.
Molly started her career as a social worker and program director at Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, where she provided services to empower and support individuals experiencing homelessness. She is also a widely published freelance writer and covers topics including mental health and parenting. Molly’s work appears in The Washington Post, HuffPost, Salon, Chicken Soup for the Soul series, and more. She’s appeared as a guest on DailyMailTV, discussing race as well as screen time and children.
Molly worked as the Associate Executive Director at ECLI-VIBES, where she had the opportunity to further her commitment to holistic individual and community-wide development and growth. Molly is passionate about educating and enhancing individuals, communities, and organizations to better support marginalized populations and to work in solidarity with individuals to thrive and build resilience.
Through Molly’s personal and professional experience, she will tailor her approach to your unique needs and apply evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, as well as strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma-informed approaches.
Training & Clinical Experience
Molly earned her Master of Social Work from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and holds her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The University of California, Santa Barbara. She is certified in trauma-informed care through the University of Buffalo School of Social Work.
Molly’s ongoing training focuses on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, including workshops on self-esteem and self-acceptance, Harnessing Exposure and ACT for Healing Trauma, and The Happiness Trap training.
