Therapy can be a vulnerable experience. I hope to create a safe space for you as you find ways to express your internal experiences. No matter where you are in your therapy journey, I will work alongside you to strengthen your relationship with yourself.
Understanding that everyone has a different learning style, Nikki strives to work with clients to find the right skills for them. Nikki will help identify these skills so that the client can utilize them confidently inside and outside the therapy session.
Training & Clinical Experience
Nikki holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from New York University Silver School of Social Work, studying evidence-based practices and expressive arts techniques. As an LMSW, she has experience working in school-based settings, community mental health, and substance use outpatient settings.
Nikki has a concentrated focus on trauma-informed care, ensuring that she creates a safe space for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. Nikki has experience utilizing different evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
